The Association
The Association of Steel Executives (ASE) is a thriving community that has been at the forefront of supporting and empowering executives within SAIL units at Ranchi since 1974. Our journey began informally as the Association of Research and Development Executives (ARDE) with a modest group of 50 executives. At our core was the vision to foster camaraderie and exchange of ideas, laying the foundation for a vibrant association.
Our Evolution
In 1976, ASE was formally established, and we have come a long way since then. We were registered as an association in 1982-83 and affiliated with the Steel Executives Federation of India (SEFI). Over time, we expanded our reach to include executives from the Centre for Engineering and Technology (CET) and Management Training Institute (MTI). This transformation led to a change in our name to the Association of Steel Executives (ASE).
